EU legislation is driving a need for rapid, quantitative and accurate assessment of water quality. EnPrint Ltd, a new venture from the Scottish Crop Research Institute, is offering a state-of-the-art microbiological analysis to meet that need.
Based upon molecular fingerprinting methods, our high throughput service is capable of identifying and quantifying several key groups that are both difficult to identify by traditional taxonomy and used as common water quality indicators. We can therefore offer significantly reduced sample turnaround times compared to conventional microscopic techniques whilst providing simple, accurate results that ensure compliance with existing legislation.
